The ancient craft of indigo dyeing was one of the many crafts that was close to disappearance. Currently, due to the sustainable and cultural value of this pigment, more people are interested in using this method again. Through workshops I have the chance to learn other people about the magic of this craft.
The workshops always are focussed on creating a playful surrounding to experiment free with the technique, possibily in combination with the technique of batik. Besides that, there's always a focus on sharing more in depth information on the history and method of dyeing with it.
